Stephen graduated from Texas Tech University, majoring in Finance. He began his career with Hand Benefits & Trust as an account executive and has broadened his duties today to include trust accounting, investments, marketing, and administrative activities. In addition to his role as President of Hand Securities Inc., a Registered Securities Representative, and an IMCA — Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®), a General and FINOP Securities Principal, Stephen is President and CEO of Hand Benefits & Trust Company and serves on its Board of Directors as Chairman.
Gregg joined Hand Benefits & Trust in 2014 and is an integral member of the firm’s board-appointed Investment Review Committee. Gregg works directly with the firm’s collective fund sub-advisors performing initial/ongoing due diligence and investment analysis. In addition, Gregg provides valuable insight to sub-advisors regarding competitive analysis, fund pricing, and pro-forma financials.
Gregg graduated from the University of Texas with a major in Finance and minor in Management Information Systems. Prior to joining Hand Benefits & Trust in 2014, he held various roles in the investing consulting and hedge fund industries, most recently as an Investment Consultant and Director of Manager Research and Due Diligence for an institutional investment consulting firm. Gregg earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designations in 2010 and is a member of the CFA Society of Houston.
Brenda Moctezuma is a Trust Officer of HB&T. In addition to her role in the implementation process of new collective investment funds where HB&T serves as trustee and administrator, she is involved in compliance oversight of HBT’s retirement plan trust and custody business. She also oversees our transfer agency services team to include new account onboarding and day to day operations.
Brenda graduated from the University of Houston majoring in Business Administration.
Kathy Harvey serves as Senior Vice President leading Trust Operations. In this role, her responsibilities include oversight of HB&T’s trusteed and sponsored common and collective investment funds business line – implementation, accounting, administration, and transfer agency services. She also manages trust compliance and trust administration. Kathy also sits on HB&T’s board appointed Trust Committee and Asset Allocation Committee. Prior to joining HB&T, Kathy began her career in commercial banking.
Kathy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance from Sam Houston State University in Texas. She is a member of Fiduciary & Investment Risk Management Association, Coalition for Collective Trust Funds, and FIS’s Trust User Group.
